As part of our commitment to comprehensive and experiential training, first-year students of the virtual program in the Occupational Health and Safety program participated in an enriching academic practice last Wednesday, August 8. The activity took place at the company's facilities. Madden-Colón Dealership, SA, under the coordination of the teacher Eibar Contreras.
The main objective of this visit was to provide students with a practical and real-life view of the company's industrial and occupational safety processes, aligned with national and international standards, as well as the program's graduate profile.
During the day, participants were able to learn about the company's organizational structure regarding security, internal regulations, emergency protocols, and risk mitigation strategies. The key role of the preventive culture as a cross-cutting axis at all organizational levels.
The experience not only reinforced the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom, but also fostered critical analysis of the observed procedures, encouraging reflection on opportunities for improvement in workplace safety management.
The students' active participation demonstrated their commitment to professional training and their motivation to responsibly take on the challenges of the sector, projecting themselves as future agents of change in their work environments.
